That's a lot of Tui and Speights ...
I didn't take up mountain biking until I moved to Canada, and now I can't go wait to go home, and ride all the cool stuff that was right under my nose the entire time.
The kids in Nepal are a riot - so curious!
This looks like an amazing trip. I don't know about biking there - I had enough trouble trekking!
I don't know about the 100 day rule. That will mean sometime next season, I am gonna eat sh!t in a big way. Oh well, gotta earn your chops, I suppose :-)
Looks like their shipping to Canada includes the cross border customs charges. UPS and the other courier companies charge $35 to do the paperwork. USPS charges $5.I just refuse to buy stuff cross border unless they ship it by post.
This and the Firebird are at the top of my must-ride list at Outerbike next year.
... and eventually, the "high dollar elite" offload this year's stuff for next year's stuff, and then you score. Any sport is as expensive as you want to make it. Chromag parts are in line or cheaper than Straitline and Loaded ... and they make good products.
Love my 2011 Operator FR. A little disappointed that they turned it into the Entourage for 2012 and left it an orphan - but it's a great little bike. I've crashed and bashed it a fair amount this season (my first in a bike park) and it's held up awesome, very impressed.
My Dawg I have thrashed for three seasons now, that bike's taken some huge offs and is still rolling strong.
The way some of these people talk, you'd think that Konas were the only frames that ever break. I'd only have to look as far as my friend's garage and his trashed Giant and Jamis frames to know that ain't the case ...
All righty then! Putting that on the list of things to do, next time I go home!
Thanks for all the hard work this season guys. Had a blast, be back next season for sure.
I'm loving the look of that air shock. I was going to get a Marz World Cup Air for my bike, but after seeing that, I might wait for a bit.
Awesome pics! Other countries are just the best. Congrats on sampling in the night market - most of my North American friends would die in disgust ... About Us
